Wine production is associated with family Tarlant since 1687 when Pierre Tarlant started working the vineyards in the village Gland in Aisne region. In 1780, Louis Tarlant with his wife Marie-Madeleine moved to Oeuilly near the river Marne where they planted new vines that have been passed down from generation to generation. Louis Adrien Tarlant started the production of sparkling wines in 1911. He is also one of the founders and promoters of the AOC system in the Champagne region. To date, they own 13 hectares, and a peculiarity of this winery is the return to the old varieties that used to be grown in Champagne such as Arbanne, Pinot Blanc and Petit Meslier. In addition, they grow the traditional grape varieties; Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
