Eredi di Cobelli Aldo
The Cobelli Family settled at No 22 at “Maso Panizza di Sopra” around mid-19th century, acquiring part of the properties then owned by the nobleman Domenico de Panizza from Taio. During the next 150 years the cultivation of land developed into an art passed down from generation to generation. In September 2005, our beloved father, Aldo, passed away, taken by heart failure. What seemed like an end has instead represented the beginning of an exciting adventure not only in the vineyards but also from a human point of view. Out of a wish to treasure the passion he had for the art of farming, “Eredi di Cobelli Aldo” was born.
In this farm, we believe in environmentally friendly agriculture always seeking the right vegeto-productive equilibrium of the plants, without destroying the habitat in which they are cultivated. Attention to the agronomic management is translated into practice with: organic fertilisation; inter-row tilling and grassing; reduction of mowing between the rows to promote biodiversity; elimination of synthetic products in pesticidial treatments and a continued research of ideas and inspiration that allows us to deepen our relationship and respect of mother earth. All of these measures are practised with an old-fashioned flavour, visually confirmed by the conservation of the traditional vineyard structure “a pergola semplice trentina”.
