The Stapleton-Springer Winery was founded in 2004. The former US Ambassador Craig Stapleton, lawyer Benjamin Stapleton and winemaker Jaroslav Springer agreed to start a winery which will carry the names of the founders and will make top-quality red wines. In Stapleton- Springer winery, we specialize in making red wines mainly from Pinot noir which we love. We make the white wines from Chardonnay grape variety. We have been working under organic regime since 2007 and in 2011 we received the Organic Winery Certificate. We care for nature and we work in vineyards with such care, so we can hand them to other generations in best condition possible. By using gentle environmentally friendly techniques, we gain more antioxidants in grapes, better tastes and that leads to higher quality in wines. We planted on our vineyard estate Čtvrtě, Bratáčky, Haltýřky, Záhřebenské, Lumperk and Trkmansko grape varieties Pinot noir 75 %, Saint Laurent 5 %, Blauer Portugieser 10 % and Chardonnay 10 % . Altogether we cultivate 23 ha of vineyards. Our wines are natural, true and vigorous.
